Pursuant to Ohio Revised Code 2927.27 (A)(1)(c), Official Investigations & Security Services, Inc. and its licensed private investigators are authorized to make a bail bond arrests upon written authorization of the surety or the agent of the surety. The surety must have a signed contract with the defendant.
Under Ohio law, law enforcement must be notified in advance of any attempt to detain or arrest the subject.
Our fees to make a bail arrest are as follows based upon Ohio law:
M2/M3/M4 - 10% of the total bond plus any authorized expenses.
M1/F5/F4 - 15% of the total bond plus any authorized expenses.
F3/F2/F1 - 20% of the total bond plus any authorized expenses.
Defendants will be transported to the county jail where the defendant is charged or the county jail where the defendant is arrested if the warrant is out of state and entered into NCIC or the defendant has waived extradition proceedings in the contract of the bond.
